Human emotion is one of the most fundamental yet incomprehensible aspects of existence. It shapes the way we perceive others, construct identity, and navigate relationships, yet its origins and transformations often remain beyond our understanding. We continuously question why certain memories linger, why emotions evolve, and how personal experiences leave invisible imprints on the human psyche. Filled with uncertainty and contradiction, we attempt to rationalize these emotional experiences, though perhaps it is the inherent complexity of human consciousness that makes them impossible to fully explain.
As an 18-year-old artist born and raised in Taiwan, my work emerges from these questions and from my fascination with human psychology. Rooted deeply in personal experiences, my art explores themes of perception, vulnerability, emotional transformation, memory, and identity. Through mixed media, installation, sculpture, and immersive environments, I aim to externalize emotions that are often internalized or difficult to articulate.
I am particularly interested in how emotional experiences shape human behavior and self-perception. Influenced by psychology and sensory perception, my works often incorporate fragmented imagery, layered textures, symbolic materials, and spatial tension to reflect the instability and complexity of human emotion. Rather than offering definitive answers, I seek to create spaces that encourage introspection and emotional confrontation.
Ultimately, I view art as a visual extension of psychological inquiry — a medium capable of translating invisible emotional states into tangible experiences. Through my practice, I hope to create works that allow viewers to recognize fragments of themselves within uncertainty, and to reflect on the fragile yet deeply interconnected nature of human experience.
